TV-Remote-Control.Co.Uk is operated by Ltd  and specialises in obtaining both Genuine Manufacturer Original remote controls and Direct Replacement Remote Controls.


We endeavour to despatch all orders within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. We believe in providing a prompt service as televisions are often rendered useless without a remote control.


Remote controls already obtained for customers are added to the web site and can be ordered instantly on line using a credit card. 

Being solely an on-line business we are able to keep our costs down to a minimum and as such we pride ourselves on providing an excellent email quotation and sales back up service.

On-Line Credit Card Security 

All credit/debit card details are processed by Worldpay or Paypal (according to your choice) on their Secure-Servers using industry-standard encryption to protect your information from unauthorised access.

Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to purchases made from Ltd using one of our websites and paying by credit/debit card or cheque. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.


References to us, we, and the Seller means Ltd.

References to you and the Buyer means the person or body purchasing the goods.

References to goods means any item, article, thing or service including downloadable items supplied by us to you.

Working days excludes Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.


Payment for goods or services must be made before goods are despatched or services supplied.


Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the goods ordered and only a contract once accepted. Orders are only deemed as accepted once goods have been dispatched. Confirmation that we have received your order does not mean we have accepted your order.  We reserve the right to supply, where appropriate, substitute goods of a similar or higher quality at no extra cost. If the substitute products are not suitable then you may return them to us at our expense. We will either refund the cost of the goods or supply alternative goods if requested, at our discretion.


Prices shown inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Postage & Packing Costs is usually applied at the checkout. Postage is calculated on a per-order basis dependent on where delivery is to be made and the number of items purchased. The total cost of postage is shown prior to payment and is deemed to be accepted upon payment by the customer.


Any time or date stated by us for the delivery of the goods is given as a forecast in the light of prevailing conditions and is given and intended as an estimate only.

In the event that by any circumstance or reason beyond our reasonable control we are unable to supply any goods within a reasonable period after the estimated date for delivery, the Seller and the Buyer shall be entitled to cancel or withdraw from the contract, but the Seller shall not be liable for any damage or loss whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of such cancellation or withdrawal or out of any non-delivery of goods.

Receipt of Goods

Immediately upon receipt of your goods, you should check the condition of the package received, if it is obviously badly damaged such that you might expect the contents to be damaged or items missing, you should reject the package and have it returned to sender but please ensure that the return to address is clearly visible on the package (all parcels are stamped without our address on the back so please ensure this is still readable). If you accept the package and subsequently find that goods have been damaged in transit, you should inform us immediately and return the damaged goods. We will either give you a full refund (including postage) or replace the damaged products as you wish.


Order Cancellation (pre-despatch)

If, prior to despatch of ordered goods, you decide to cancel your order, you must inform us as soon as possible by e-mail or telephone. The cancellation will only be effective once it has been confirmed in writing or e-mail by us. If, after the goods have been despatched, you decide to cancel your order, the conditions applying to Order Cancellation (post-despatch) shall apply.

Ownership of Goods

Legal ownership of the goods shall remain with us until full payment for the goods has been received.

We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from buyers who have not paid.

Order Cancellation (post-despatch)

You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days (cooling off period) of receipt of the goods. We will refund the cost of the goods within 30 days. To cancel an order within the cooling off period you must inform us in writing including e-mail. The effective date of cancellation is the date on which the written communication was sent. After exercising your right to cancel your order within the cooling off period, the ownership of the goods reverts to us and you are under obligation to take reasonable care of any goods that have been supplied, such that the goods can be sold as new again.

Upon cancellation you must return the goods to us in an as-new condition complete with original packing and literature (manuals etc). You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods, except where substitute goods have been supplied or where the goods are defective, in which case the cost will be borne by us. If you fail to return the goods within a reasonable time we will arrange for direct recovery of the goods at your expense (note; this will normally be more expensive than your returning the goods). In this case we will inform you within 21 days as to when we are going to collect the goods. .
